The changing economy of trees

Part of IEMA’s World Environment Day activities. Hosted by IEMA’s Nick Blyth, during this webinar Pat Snowdon from Scottish Forestry will provide an overview of the Woodland Carbon Code, a voluntary standard for the creation of new woodland. We will look at the wider benefits of woodland creation (including the creation of flood defences), the opportunities of nature based solutions including sustainable finance (and some of the possible barriers) and how we can include these activities in building a green recovery.
