IEMA | Circular Economy 101 guide

circular economy

Building on common principles, key levers and interventions needed to transition to a circular economy, the Steering Group has developed ‘six goals for decision makers’, a key feature of this guide. These goals incorporate additional principles that are aimed at reducing the flow of materials in the system, the need for clean and sustainable materials, and shared value.

In July 2023, the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA)’s Circular Economy Network Steering Group published a guide to Circular Economy. The guide covers: what a circular economy means, how it works in practice, useful resources and more.

The guide is freely available to IEMA members and can be purchased by non-IEMA members via the IEMA website below.
