2019 Environmental Professional of the Year Award

The prestigious Environmental Professional of the Year award recognises the outstanding work of Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) and Registered Environmental Technician (REnvTech) registrants.

The Award showcases the achievements of those striving to protect and enhance the environment on a daily basis and attracts a diverse range of outstanding nominations each year from across sectors and continents. It can be presented to CEnv and REnvTech registrants only, and submissions are accepted for both self-nominations and nominations for your peers, colleagues or those that inspire you.

2019 Nominations Now Closed

Nominations for the 2019 Environmental Professional of the year closed at 12:00 BST on Wednesday 1st May 2019.

Following the Society's Cabinet meeting on the 15th May 2019, the judging panel have now completed the judging process. A winner and two highly commended finalists have been selected from nine chosen finalists (see below). The winner and two highly commended finalists will be officially announced at the Society's annual Awards and Lectures for World Environment Day on the 4th June 2019. 

The event - hosted by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew - is free for CEnv and REnvTech registrants to attend, with a small fee for non-registrants. Registration for the event is still open, but tickets are going quickly! We would be delighted if you could join us to celebrate the work of environmental professionals.
