The IOM3 Sustainable Future Awards

Recognising and celebrating those championing sustainability in the extraction, processing and use of natural resources.

IOM3 Sustainable Future Awards open for nominations – recognising and celebrating those championing sustainability, EDI (equality, diversity and inclusion) and the need for greater circularity in the extraction, processing and use of natural resources.

The Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining (IOM3) are Licensed Member of the Society for the Environment. As a result, they offer the Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) and Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP) registration to their appropriately experienced and knowledgeable members.

The IOM3 Sustainable Future Awards are a new collection of awards to celebrate heroes from materials, minerals, mining and associated technical disciplines who are advancing the transition to a low carbon, resource efficient society – something the Society is very keen on!

The awards provide an opportunity for individuals and organisations to showcase projects and initiatives across six awards categories. Amongst the judges is the Society’s very own Chief Executive, Dr Emma Wilcox CEnv. The awards will culminate at the Sustainable Future Awards Ceremony on 20 October 2023.

Nominations are open until 2 June 2023.
