Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA) has recently announced that their organisation’s membership has hit a new record of more than 20,000 professionals working within both environment and sustainability roles worldwide. Allowing the professional body to become one of the largest membership organisations within the sector. This is a huge success for the organisation especially as this milestone has been achieved during National Careers Week, celebrating the professionals and all their dedicated work towards the environmental and sustainable agenda. They are delighted to announce this incredible achievement and continue to support the development of their members every day.
“I’m thrilled to see just how many people value IEMA membership. When I talk to our members and hear about the work they’re doing, I know that we’re heading in the right direction for a more sustainable future, but we must do more. Equipping our members with cutting edge tools and knowledge is essential to tackle climate change and ensuring more people are encouraged to acquire green skills.”
