Exceptional finalists revealed for the 2023 SocEnv Awards

We had a record number of entries in the 2023 SocEnv Awards which is an incredible step forward and showcases the number of outstanding environmental professionals working hard to protect, preserve or enhance the environment. The Society for the Environment is delighted to announce the highly deserving and exceptional finalists of the prestigious 2023 SocEnv Awards.

There are two awards up for grabs:  

2023 Environmental Professional of the Year 

Highlighting the best work of Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv), Registered Environmental Practitioner (REnvP) and Registered Environmental Technician (REnvTech) registrants. 

2023 Registrant Newcomer of the Year 

Shining a light on professionals who have really hit the ground running having achieved REnvP, REnvTech or CEnv registration since the start of 2022. 

The finalists were selected from an array of excellent nominations, received for environmental professionals working in agriculture, environmental management, energy, event management, water supply, transport, waste, engineering, and more.

Join us to discover the winners and listen to World Environment Day lectures:

The winners will be revealed as part of a free online celebration event on Tuesday 6th June 2023.   

The event will also see Professor Will Pope CEnv Honorary Fellow of the Society for the Environment provide a short lecture on his time as Chair of the Board here at SocEnv. 

There will be special World Environment Day inspired lectures delivered during this online award event from:
