Chartered Environmentalists, Registered Environmental Practitioners and Registered Environmental Technicians work across sectors, disciplines and geographical borders on projects and strategies in order to protect and enhance the environment. Their influence, skills and proven competences are the building blocks and drivers of clean growth.
Clean growth is a key strand of the UK’s Industrial Strategy, released in November 2017 by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). For this reason, amongst many others, we believe that registered environmental professionals have a key role to play in it’s implementation.
To showcase this, the Society collected a series of case studies from registered environmental professionals and published the “Greening the Industrial Strategy Report” in November 2018. The case studies highlight clean growth in action, just one year since the Industrial Strategy was launched. You can view the report via the link below.
