The early draft of a potential cover decision for COP27 was released. Analysis on this draft can be viewed in the Guardian and Reuters.

A raft of initiatives were launched, including the Presidency Initiative Low Carbon Transport for Urban Sustainability (LᶜO₂TUS) and the Accelerating To Zero Coalition, aimed at achieving a transition to Zero Emission Vehicles.

It was also announced that in the last year around another 50 countries have joined the global pact to reduce methane emissions, meaning more than 150 nations have signed up to the pact to date. Find out more here.
