Science and Youth Day

The second thematic day of COP27 focused on "Science and Youth/Future Generations". The day put the spotlight on the latest climate science and ensuring young people are at the forefront of the global response.

What happened on Science and Youth Day?

A number of events took place looking at skills, including the IEMA organised Green Zone event on career pathways into green jobs. IEMA’s Martin Baxter CEnv gives his reflections following the event via the IEMA COP27 webpage. Watch here.

The UN’s COP-TV channel featured livestream events, including the press conference ’10 insights into climate science’, as well as interviews with leading scientists and youth activists. Watch back here.
