2025 Impact Report | Case studies, statistics and podcast

Here at the Society for the Environment, our mission is to make a meaningful difference in tackling the climate and environmental emergencies. To understand how effectively we’re driving that change, we look at the impact created through our work, our registrants, and collaboration throughout our network.

This year, we’re taking a new approach to impact reporting.

Instead of a traditional written report, we’ve created a more accessible and engaging way to explore our achievements. On this page, you’ll find:

  • Case studies that demonstrate environmental professionalism in action
  • A special impact‑focused podcast episode sharing insights and experiences from across our network
  • A clear, visual infographic summarising key outcomes and progress.

Together, these resources show how we embed professional standards into everything we do, highlight the environmental competence of our registrants, and showcase the collaboration and good practice that continue to strengthen our impact.

Explore the sections below to discover how environmental professionals are driving positive change and how our collective work is shaping a more sustainable future. First up, our EnvCast impact special.
