Can’t see the skills for the trees – critical shortages in forestry workforce skills put climate targets at risk
On Thursday 7 October 2021 The Institute of Chartered Foresters, a Licensed Member of SocEnv, sent a position paper to Ministers across the UK detailing their serious concerns about the skills shortage in our sector, which the ICF believe puts climate targets at risk.
Additional note: SocEnv are collaborating with the ICF on addressing the cross-sector skills challenge, as part of the collaborative Environmental Policy Forum.
