REnvP | Information for Your Teams

As it stands with new REnvTech and CEnv registrants, they do not have the opportunity to opt in to receive communications and e-newsletters directly from SocEnv when they complete their registrations. To change this add an opt in tick box to your REnvP application forms that states:

“Tick to opt in to receive newsletters, event details and general opportunities from the Society for the Environment via email.”

We believe that staying in the loop with SocEnv activities and being made aware of opportunities across the environmental sector can only be beneficial to the new registrant.

A related column has been added to the registration Excel document (batch form) for you to confirm if applicants have opted in to receive communications from SocEnv. The new REnvP “batch form” will be sent to you when you have gained your REnvP licence.

Currently, the new registrant information you provide to us is only used for sending out a welcome letter and a registration certificate. GDPR stops us from announcing new registrants publicly on our platforms for example, but we’d like to provide the opportunity to change this for REnvP.

Add an opt in tick box to your REnvP application forms as follows:

“Tick to opt in for the Society for the Environment to announce your new registration via their public facing platforms. Announcement to include forename, surname, registration level, Licensed Member, job title and employer.”

Again, a related column has been added to the registration Excel document (batch form) for you to confirm if applicants have opted in to the registration announcement by SocEnv. The new REnvP “batch form” will be sent to you when you have gained your REnvP licence.
