Welcome to the April edition of our e-newsletter.

This is one of my favourite times of the year because we launch our ‘Environmental Professional of the Year’ award where we celebrate achievements of registered environmental professionals. We have also recently launched our first series of webinars and have been working hard to protect your data and privacy. Nominations Open for the 2018 Environmental Professional of the Year Award

The prestigious Environmental Professional of the Year award celebrates an individual’s exceptional commitment or major achievement where their professional practice has made a real difference to protecting, preserving or enhancing the environment and advancing the principles of sustainability. 

The award can be won by either a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) or Registered Environmental Technician (REnvTech) from any sector or discipline. We welcome you to nominate your colleagues, peers, inspirations or even yourself! 

The award will be presented at the Society for the Environment Awards and Lectures on World Environment Day (5th June 2018).

Society for the Environment Annual Awards and Lectures on World Environment Day

Celebrate the work of environmental professionals, network with current and aspiring Chartered Environmentalists and Registered Environmental Technicians, meet representatives from our 25 Constituent Bodies and learn from insightful expert lectures - all on World Environment Day (Tuesday 5th June 2018 | 17:00 - 21:00). 

Alongside the presentation of the Environmental Professional of the Year Award 2018 (above), there will be the formal announcement of three new Honorary Fellow of the Society for the Environment (HonFSE) followed by two HonFSE Lectures former CEO of Natural Resources Wales, Emyr Roberts and Professor of Environmental Assessment at Cranfield University, Professor Paul Leinster CBE CEnv.

Don't miss out on the chance to meet experts, hear their stories and celebrate their achievements.

CEnvs and REnvTechs can attend for free, and a special early bird price is available for aspiring registrants and interested parties until midnight (UK) on the 5th May 2018.
