The Society was delighted to be invited to Locogen's joint 10 year anniversary and new office opening celebration in Edinburgh on the 24th September 2019. To add to the speeches from Locogen CEO Andrew Lyle and Deidre Brock, MP for Edinburgh North and Leith (and SNP Shadow Spokesperson for Environment and Rural Affairs), our Engagement Manager, Phil Underwood, was given the opportunity to present Locogen's certificate as a CEnv Employer Champion to Andrew.

Upon being declared a CEnv Employer Champion, David Linsley-Hood CEnv, Consultancy Director at Locogen Ltd, said:

"Chartership and professional development is key to developing and recognising the skills and experience of our staff. Locogen are committed to working with our team to help them achieve their full potential, and as such we are very pleased to celebrate being one of the first organisations in the Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) Employer Champion Scheme."

Locogen are among eight other organisations who have met the requirements to be recognised as CEnv Employer Champions. CEnv Employer Champions now include:

Each of the CEnv Employer Champions above, including Locogen, have demonstrated that they provide valuable support to their employees when working towards chartership, have clear pathways to mentors and/or CPD opportunities, hold their expert CEnv registrants in high regard and champion professional registration from a senior level. The Society congratulates all organisations who have met the standard and welcomes the continued collaborative opportunities that are being developed from this project.

Remember, Employer Champions can be big or small. They can have just one registrant in their team. But, they must champion the expertise, influence and importance of those with environmental professional registrations (CEnv and REnvTech).
