Following a successful application, the Society for the Environment is pleased to confirm Wills Bros Civil Engineering Ltd as the latest Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) Employer Champion.
Launched in June this year, the Employer Champion programme recognises employers of environmental professionals who truly value professional registration for their environmental experts. They demonstrate how they develop their teams and provide support to both aspiring registrants and those who have met the standards to already call themselves, in this case, CEnv.
Reacting to the news, Chris Landsburgh CEnv, Environmental & Sustainability Manager, Wills Bros Civil Engineering Ltd, said:
"We are delighted to be one of the first organisations to be appointed as a Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) Employer Champion by the Society for the Environment. Wills Bros Civil Engineering Ltd is committed to the protection and enhancement of the environment, as well as leaving a positive legacy in each of our projects. Being a CEnv Employer Champion demonstrates our continued support to develop our staff and our core policies of the organisation.
We look forward to continuing growth in this field and supporting the profession alongside other CEnv and REnvTech Employer Champions."
The assessment team at the Society for the Environment were particularly pleased with Wills Bros' "impressive support from senior management, the promotion of professional registrations via regular appraisals and their recruitment requirements."
