Environment Agency Theatre at Flood Expo 2018

06 August 2018   (0 Comments)

Running on the 12th & 13th September, and with 200 cutting-edge supplier-exhibitors, 100 expert-led seminars and some of the brightest minds, engineers and authorities within the sector all crammed under one roof, Flood Expo will showcase the innovative products and technologies helping to deal with the ever-increasing global threat of flooding.

Transforming Birmingham into the hub of the industry over two unmissable days, over 4,000 visitors will make The Flood Expo the event not to miss this year.

This year's show will also play host to The Environment Agency's Seminar Theatre which will address issues surrounding funding, the future of flood prevention technology and  include speakers such as:

  • Mike Steel speaking about long term investment scenarios,
  • Stuart Barbrook on overcoming funding challenges
  • Jon Hollis discussing how to use partnerships to implement flood management solutions.

Alongside this, the show will host unparalleled opportunities to network, gain one-to-one advice from industry leading experts, and access four other leading environmental exhibitions taking place on the same day:

  • The Marine & Coastal Civil Engineering Expo,
  • RWM Expo (run in partnership with SocEnv Licensed Body CIWM)
  • The Contamination Series Expo
  • The Future Resource Expo

The Society for the Environment team will be there to discuss all things Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) and Registered Environmental Technician (REnvTech), alongside a number of our Licensed Bodies, including CIWEM. Come and say hi to us on stand 4A52.

This year the event really will be bigger and better than ever!
