The Environmental Photographer of the Year showcases the very best in environmental photography. It encourages and inspires spectators from around the world to improve behaviours and take more care of the environment.

Winners and shortlisted entries from the 2017 competition will be exhibited at the Bermondsey Project Space between the 20th-24th March 2018.

A range of brilliant, thought-provoking images will be displayed at the gallery. The exhibition will show photographs that have been taken around the world, which send out strong environmental messages on issues including climate change, environmental degradation and poverty.

Terry Fuller, CIWEM Chief Executive said:

"We are thrilled that Olympus have sponsored this exhibition. It provides a great opportunity to show off these fantastic images, and we hope that people of all ages will visit the gallery and be moved by the important issues that these photographs explore."

Founded in 2015, the Bermondsey Project Space is based in the vibrant Bermondsey Street, in London. Exhibitions, events and out-reach educational projects combine the power of the world famous OLYMPUS brand with the UK-wide reach of STATE F22 magazine.

Project Space presents art & photography from across the UK, offering a flagship venue for both emerging and established artists. This, combined with their visionary educational and early learning programmes, promotes freedom of creative expression through the visual arts.

Georgina Pavelin, Marketing Manager at Olympus UK said:
