EFRA Committee calls major Supermarkets to give Evidence

The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs Committee has today called upon representatives from major supermarkets to give evidence.

Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Morrison's have all been invited to give evidence to the commons select committee to aid into their inquiry into Food Waste in England.

The Society provided their own evidence to the inquiry and have been following developments in this inquiry closely, as well as looking at ways other countries have been approaching the issue.
