The Society joined with Castle Debates and DLA Piper on Monday for a summit on Brexit and what it means for the environment. A crowd of over 150 people gathered to watch as Stanley Johnson oversaw presentations by Baroness Kate Parminter, Dr Paul Leinster CBE, Teresa Hitchcock and Matthew Knight.

The presenters were then joined by other notable figures, including SocEnv Past Chair and current Vice President of the IES, Professor Will Pope and the President of the European Network of Environmental Professionals, Kristof De Smet, for a question and answer session with the audience.

Castle Debates recorded the event and will be releasing it as a Podcast shortly. The input from the panellists will also form part of the Society's upcoming document, tentatively titled ‘Vision of post-Brexit Environmental Policy’.
