New Employer Champion Certificates Presented at the SocEnv Awards Event

Society for the Environment presented new Employer Champions with certificates at the Awards Event

On the eve of World Environment Day (4th June), the Society for the Environment presented two new Employer Champions with their certificates.

Our Employer Champion programme is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year and we are so proud of the collaborations we have had with our incredible Employers throughout the last few years, from hosting webinars to developing new special interest groups and much more. We are continuously growing this programme and we have gladly welcomed two more Employers into the programme at our Awards Event on the eve of World Environment Day (4th June 2024).

Wates

They have been recognised with this status for their commitment to enhancing and furthering the environmental professionals and practices within their organisation and we are delighted to have welcomed Wates into the programme.

Certificate Presentation

Martin Ballard CEnv (left) was presented with Wates’ Employer Champion certificate by SocEnv’s Chief Executive Dr Emma Wilcox CEnv (right).

After receiving this award Martin said that “it’s fantastic to receive this [certificate] on behalf of Wates”.

Certificate Presentation

Rachael Riley and George Tuckwell (left) was presented with RSK’s Employer Champion certificate by SocEnv’s Chief Executive Dr Emma Wilcox CEnv (right).

After receiving this award George said that RSK supports their employees to Chartership through their Heads of Profession program and that he was “enormously pleased that that has led [RSK] to the Society for the Environment”.
