The Society hosts numerous webinars throughout the year, including series that have an umbrella topic such as Climate Change, Innovations and the Sustainable Built Environment. These short, multi-webinar series are designed to pull together the collective knowledge of CEnv, REnvP and REnvTech registrants from across sectors and disciplines to give their perspectives on the umbrella topic. This provides an excellent learning platform for environmental professionals and beyond, as well as breaking out of sector silos to inspire multi-directional solutions.

Licensed Member Spotlights

Throughout 2021 – 2023, we are running a Spotlight webinar series with each and every Licensed Member – one per month. Each mini-series is designed to inform your members about the environmental registrations available to them and provide guidance and inspiration to those aspiring to become a CEnv, REnvP or REnvTech.

The continual development and recognition of environmental professionals is something to be celebrated. The Society’s Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) and Registered Environmental Technician (REnvTech) Employer Champion programmes recognise and reward organisations that demonstrate a sustained commitment to developing their employees specialising in environmental disciplines. The aim – to support these organisations in their efforts to promote and increase the positioning of environmental professionals, resulting in stronger collaborative working and growth of the registers.

How can you help?

Could you spread the word about the Employer Champion programme? Do you have contacts who might be interested? Plus, we will be signposting our contacts to you to develop opportunities for their staff to become CEnv and/or REnvTech.

Our e-newsletters – sent once every two months – contain the latest news from the Society and our Licensed Members, upcoming events and information regarding opportunities.

Currently the e-newsletter is mainly being distributed via your marketing/membership teams, but registrants are also able to opt-in directly with the Society. Please encourage your CEnv and REnvTech members, as well as interested parties, to sign up here.

We will be continuously on the look out for news items, events and case studies to be added to this e-newsletter, which is a great opportunity to further showcase your news and members. Please send relevant items or queries to: [email protected]

‘EnvCast | Environmental Professionals in Conversation‘ is designed to provide insight into the lives of registered environmental professionals – CEnv, REnvP and REnvTech registrants.

• What drives them?
• How did they get where they are today?
• Why do they do what they do?

We release an episode each month, with the aim to interview registrants across all of our Licenced Members, from varied sectors and job roles.
