We are searching for candidates to join the SocEnv Board in 2026.
Two vacancies are available, with voting taking place at our AGM in June.
We are looking to appoint individuals to join the Society’s Board in 2026, who will help us take the organisation to the next level of development.
After celebrating 20 years of our Royal Charter, our vision for our next chapter remains ambitious and challenging. We are proud of our work, but the need for environmental competence, leadership, and innovation is more pressing than ever. This is an opportunity to use your skills and experience in governing some fantastic work in furthering the environmental profession.
Led by our Chair, the Board oversees the creation and implementation of the Society’s strategy, annual business plans and risk management strategies. Alongside its sub-committees, the Board ensures that we meet our statutory and legal requirements and deliver on the obligations contained within our Royal Charter.
I would highly recommend joining the Society for Environment Board to anyone looking for a purpose-led Board role. I thoroughly enjoy working within a diverse team with a huge breadth of experience that helps deliver sustained positive impact through the Society’s work.
