Event Highlights
Explore nature-based solutions in action on a fascinating farm walk that will get you out from behind your desk and into the great outdoors. Put on your wellies and get ready to connect with nature while learning from experts in the field! This event also includes insightful presentations, featuring:
- Talk 1: Robert Earl CEnv – An overview of SocEnv’s “Soils and Stones” project and how nature-based solutions are influencing soil protection policy through collaboration.
- Talk 2: Jonathan Atkinson CEnv, Technical Director of CL– Learn about Soil Passports and their role in AMP8 construction projects, helping make the most of valuable resources.
- Talk 3: Sandra Norval CEnv, Southern Water – Insight into water conservation efforts and the role of nature-based solutions in protecting water supplies for the future.
- Talk 4: Tom Pearson (Production Director) and Valentin Cojocaru (Irrigation Manager), Hugh Lowe Farms – Discover how regenerative farming and innovative irrigation have enhanced biodiversity and water efficiency at a fruit farm (includes a farm walk).
