Summary
Free for members to attend the whole series of Powering Net Zero
Following on from COP26 and the bold commitments agreed by many to ensure we reach net zero by 2050, this series of events will discuss the key elements that need to be considered when delivering the net zero target.
Held throughout the year both in-person and online, these breakfast briefings bring together expert speakers from across industries to discuss and debate the role of electricity and electrification in delivering net zero emissions.
This upcoming conference will look at The value of system services – what does it mean for a net zero system? As renewable energy moves to be the dominant source of generation in the grid, it must also provide the associated system services required and support grid flexibility and resilience. Our expert panel of speakers will be exploring the role of batteries, storage, and hybrid plants.
