Overview
You are invited to join us for our ‘Cry Me a River’ Webinar as Ian Barker, Environment VP, hosts our 4th Environment Conference.
Taking place online across the 24th and 25th of May, we invite you to join us for two exciting mornings of insightful environmental topics, diverse speakers, and networking opportunities.
The conference will investigate why so few of the UK’s rivers are in a healthy state. It will look at how pollution from sewage, urban runoff, mine waters and agriculture is creating a chemical cocktail which threatens biodiversity. And it’s not just pollution which is a cause for concern: excessive water abstraction is drying up chalk streams and wetlands. But there are solutions to these challenges, and we will learn about the art of the possible for restoring the water environment.
