For many, Chartership and professional membership / registration are seen as valuable assets - both for individuals progressing through their careers and for organisations looking to showcase their level of expertise. But, why is this? What makes professional membership and/or registration so valued?

In this webinar we plan to find out the answer to the above question with the help of two special guests from Willmott Dixon and the Environment Agency. Catherine Wright is the Director for Digital and Skills, Flood & Coastal Risk Management at the Environment Agency and Martin Ballard CEnv is Group Environment Manager at Willmott Dixon. Both Catherine and Martin will explore the need for chartership and professional membership, drawing from personal experience and looking to the future of the environment sector.

We'll be looking into questions like:

  • Why does the Environment Agency / Willmott Dixon value professional registration?
  • When working with other organisations, why is it useful to see that their professionals hold charterships in certain positions?
  • As a manager, why would you encourage your teams to gain professional registration?
  • Why do you have a professional registration / membership?
  • Why is CEnv or REnvTech registration a valuable achievement for an employee?

Two presentations will be followed by an opportunity for you to quiz Martin and Catherine in a live Q&A session. This is an ideal opportunity to find out more about why professional registration should be an aspiration for you and your teams. Why is it beneficial? What does it mean to organisations? How can it help an individual progress?

Alongside this webinar, we would recommend also watching the Pathway to CEnv or REnvTech recorded webinar.

Platform: Zoom.

Cost: Free.
