‘A First Response to the Environment Bill: The New Body, the Courts, and the Future of UK Environmental Law’

This half day conference, organised by UKELA (UK Environmental Law Association) in collaboration with UCL, ClientEarth and WWF will give delegates an early chance to discuss and debate the Environment Bill. The programme will consider the role of environmental principles in the Bill, the Bill's potential implications for the courts and tribunals, the nature and role of the new proposed Environmental Body and the implications of all these aspects for the future of Environmental Law across the UK.

A stellar line up of speakers has been secured from across the field, including members of the judiciary and Bar, practitioners, academics, NGOs and representatives from key stakeholders.
