The East Anglian Branch of CIWEM (The Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management) invites you to an evening talk on waves, water and contaminated land.

You will hear from Julie Southall, Mott MacDonald, who will present a case study of a site in East London which saw both contaminated land and flooding challenges exacerbated by climate change.

Following this, Lucy Bethell will put forward a summary of the ways in which coastal erosion affects landfill sites, and the identification, assessment and mitigation of this environmental hazard.
