“As a Senior Environment Manager (EK) you will be responsible for leading the Integrated Project Team (IPT), assuring that design and construction within the team is in accordance with organisational and sponsor requirements and policies (including the Environmental Minimum Requirements (EMRs)), environmental commitments, environmental law and regulations. This role is responsible for providing client delivery support to the IPT through guidance on environmental design and construction requirements and assuring that environmental issues and constraints are key considerations in project design and construction implementation.”

Principal Water Resources Engineer (Mining) | WSP

• Deliver consulting services to internal and external clients in the areas of conceptual model development, hydraulics, engineering design, hydrology, mine water management, stormwater management, water balance assessment, dam break assessment, flood-modelling and flood risk assessment, water quality assessments and water conservation & demand management.
• Direct and review water resource aspects of a range of international mining and water resource projects, including environmental assessments, environmental permitting, and engineering design projects.
• Assist with developing projects and services which support climate change reporting, resilience and adaptation, including nature-based solutions.
• Project coordination, managing and participating actively in the development of budgets, schedules and plans for projects and proposals.

• Contribute to multidisciplinary project teams on local, regional and international consulting projects, so they are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to client and WSP’s standards.
• Display a ‘safety first’ attitude in line with an interdependent health and safety culture, promoting positive health and safety, raising safety issues through the appropriate channels and adhering to WSP’s health and safety policy and procedures.”
